Kanye vs. Kimmel!!!

103.3 AMP RADIO

Usually I think celebrity feuds are RIDICULOUS however, this is the funniest and most entertaining thing EVER!!! Jimmy Kimmel and Kanye West went to twitter war last night all because Kanye CLEARLY can’t take a joke. In life you NEED to learn to make fun of yourself. Kanye skipped that life lesson. He freaked out on Kimmel via twitter and they went back n’ forth all night long. Jimmy was just saying funny things the whole time while Kanye took everything to the next level. The best part is the video that started the whole thing. Watch it BELOW!!!

WCBS-FM 101.1

This Sunday (September 29), Gene Simmons will perform at London’s Wembley Stadium, but it’s not with his band KISS. Instead the bassist will sing the National Anthem for the NFL International Series game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings.

According to NME, the bassist will sing “The Star Spangled Banner” before the game’s kick-off.

“I’m excited to be touching down in London to sing our US National Anthem at the Vikings-Steelers game,” Simmons said in a statement. “I always love playing a role in these types of high-action, fast-paced games, not to mention returning to the UK and performing in front of some the best fans in the world!”

Watch Kings of Leon Perform Live on Letterman [Video]

WXRT

Two years ago when Kings of Leon lead singer Caleb Followill abruptly left the stage during a gig in Dallas without returning, the future was suddenly uncertain for the band that produced unforgettable hits like ‘Use Somebody’ and ‘Sex on Fire’.

The group would go on to cancel the remainder of their U.S. tour dates following the Dallas show, and the boys went on to take a desperately needed break – only meeting weeks later to discuss their future.

Made In America Day Two: Nine Inch Nails Bring The Rage, Calvin Harris Blows Minds

CBS Philly

Nine Inch Nails headlined the second night of Made In America, filling the “rock legend” slot occupied by Pearl Jam at last year’s festival. As with Pearl Jam, many fans showed up mainly to see the headliner, and others left before their set. Like Public Enemy, who played the Rocky stage the prior day, NIN do not fit into the #YOLO vibe, which means that a good amount of the audience don’t know what to do with their music. Are girls expected to grind? Should guys twirl their t-shirts over their heads? There’s no question that it’s a much different era from the one when Trent Reznor and crew leveled the stage at Woodstock ’94 and had their zeitgeist moment.

Reznor opened the show, unaccompanied, on a sampler – a reference to the beginning of Talking Heads’ concert film Stop Making Sense, (a reference which may have been lost…

CALVIN HARRIS TURNS IT OUT

Nine Inch Nails was the headliner, but it was Calvin Harris that much of the audience was waiting to see: putting him on the smaller Liberty stage served to give his set even more of a vibe of an extremely sold out concert, and one that everyone felt happy to be at.  Starting his set with “Sweet Nothing,” his collaboration with Florence Welch, he had the audience in the palm of his hand for an hour, and judging by the crowd reaction, they would happily have bounced through another hour or two.  Whether playing his own hits (his Rihanna collab “We Found Love,” “Drinking From The Bottle” with Tinie Tempeh) or other people’s music (Showtek’s “Booyah” made people lose their minds, as did Knife Party’s “Lrad”), the energy level never lagged during the show (as opposed to Deadmau5’s set on the same stage the prior…
